Taro Records celebrates its 20th release with a bang and a klank, as label bosses Taro Division and Aaron Udy join forces to create their first full EP under the moniker of Syrette. Refusing to be pinned down, the pair open with Kylan, all drums and screeches, before heading into buzzing breakbeat rave territory with the anthemic Rimeiku. The original tracks are finished off with LammR, a hark back to the thunderous noise befitting of an expansive warehouse location. Syrette chose two of their favourite artists personally for the remixes and both have delivered in fine style, with Shadowcomplex and Animal Holocaust each adding their own touch of cinematic storytelling to the sounds.
